NEWS RELEASE:


At approximately 1500 hours on Saturday, August 26, 2000, members of the Franklin County Drug Task Force discovered a total of twenty-six (26) marijuana plants growing at several locations in St. Thomas Township. Each of the potted plants were approximately 6-7 ft. tall and were hidden in thick brush. The total street value of the seized plants is estimated at $50,000 - $55,000. 


The Franklin County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police - Bureau of Drug Law Enforcement and the Pennsylvania State Police - Aviation Patrol Unit 3 during this marijuana eradication operation.
