NEWS RELEASE:

On Monday, July 03, 2000, members of the Franklin County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 60 South Carl Avenue, in the Borough of Greencastle.  Upon searching the residence, police found heroin, heroin-related drug paraphernalia, and handgun ammunition.  As a result of this incident, a 17 year old male juvenile was charged with one count each of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The juvenile subject was taken into custody by the Franklin County Juvenile Probation Department. 

The Chambersburg Police Department's K-9 Unit and the Pennsylvania State Police assisted with this incident.
